Linux installation

Download. Extract. Install.

  1. Download the Linux package. Save the .tar.gz file on your computer.
  2. Extract the archive. Use your file manager's extract option.
  3. Open the extracted folder. Double-click Install REC(over).
  4. Authorize the installation. Confirm the graphical system prompt when requested.
  5. Start REC(over). Open it from your desktop application menu.

Licensing and privacy

Direct licensing without uploading your videos.

Linux purchases and licensing are securely processed through Stripe. An Internet connection may be required for purchases, license and recovery-credit validation, and update checks.

Video analysis and recovery remain local. Your media is not uploaded for processing and is not used by REC(over) to train artificial intelligence models.
